Alex Cooper from ‘Call Her Daddy” said that she would no longer edit Instagram photos after a viral video slammed her for altering a photo!

Alexandra Cooper said that they wouldn’t edit another Instagram picture after she was “discovered” by TikTok for altering a photo from her birthday celebration.

Cooper said Wednesday’s episode on her Spotify-exclusive podcast, “Call Her Father”, entitled “I Acquired Catch Photoshopping”, that she had edited the photo using Facetune because it made her feel uncomfortable about how her body looked. Cooper stated that she has “absolutely” taken photos of herself before.

Following a TikTok viral comparison of two identical photos Cooper and a friend published on Instagram, the debate erupted. Cooper claimed that she had published the edited version of the photo but Lauren, Cooper’s friend, published an uneditable form in a “photo dump”, which included photos taken during Cooper’s visit to Vegas.

Cooper said that Cooper sent her a vulgar Instagram message the next morning. She asked for her existence to be considered and also connected to a TikTok who stated they had compared the images together. It was not immediately clear which TikTok Cooper was referring to.

This video evaluates Cooper’s 2 birthday photos, which was submitted by @jillyyygirllll on August 27, and has accumulated more than 184,000 likes.

The caption above the video says, “Literally exactly what you will find impractical bodies standards.”

Cooper was criticised in some comments. Some even discussed their own body image, while others said that social media’s beauty standards had discouraged them from posting pictures of themselves. Others defended Cooper, pointing out that the system that made women feel pressured into editing their photos was responsible for the impractical body standards.

Cooper said that they have not seen the recording and didn’t build relationships with its negative comments. Cooper stated that she has not spoken out about TikTok since the incident.

Cooper said that she was going out to dinner with friends and family in Vegas and Lauren asked for a photo of them together before she went to a golf course. Cooper said that she was not satisfied with the photos after she looked at them.

“I remember looking at myself in these photos. I was wearing this tan outfit and felt uncomfortable about my body. On Wednesday’s podcast, she said that her body was not what I liked. “That night, I felt great, confident, and happy. After which, I saw photos of individuals and realized that I was unhappy.” She stated that she edited Facetune’s look before uploading it while driving to the club.

She stated that she was not going to edit an Instagram photo “again”, and hoped that others follow her lead.

Cooper said around the podcast that people might think, “Oh my God, you’re just acknowledging it since you were caught,” “Yes, but also no, but yes. It’s a similar intervention to me in some ways.
